The work at New Life Center is possible through our incredible community of volunteers who donate their time and their talent to support our mission. All in-person volunteers receive on-the-job training to equip them with the skills and information necessary to perform your volunteer role in a way that makes the biggest impact for our community.
individual VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
- Hope’s Closet Store Attendant
Support the day-to-day operations of Hope’s Closet, our social enterprise thrift store, while helping create a welcoming shopping experience for the community. Volunteers assist with receiving and sorting donations, organizing merchandise, keeping the store clean and inviting, greeting guests, and providing excellent customer service.Location: In person
Minimum Age: 14 years old (with guardian consent) - Price Tag Volunteer
Make a meaningful impact from home on your own schedule. Price Tag Volunteers help keep Hope’s Closet running by preparing the price tags used daily throughout the store. This opportunity includes purchasing the required paper, printing price tag sheets, cutting out tags, and mailing or dropping off completed tags at Hope’s Closet.
Location: Remote
Schedule: Flexible, at your leisure - Internship
Interested in gaining hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact? New Life Center hosts internships on a case-by-case basis based on organizational needs and learning objectives.

GROUP Volunteer OPPORTUNITIES:
Looking for a meaningful way to give back with your coworkers, school, church, family, or community organization? Group volunteering is a great way to build connections while making a lasting impact on survivors and their families.
Our preferred group size is 5–10 volunteers, but we’re happy to accommodate larger groups when possible. Contact our Community Engagement Manager, Tori Lund, at tlund@newlifectr.org to learn more about available opportunities, discuss your group’s needs, and coordinate a volunteer date.
