Volunteer - New Life Center

Become A Volunteer

Volunteering is a rewarding way to make a positive impact in your community and in the lives of thousands of women and children
who are fleeing domestic violence.  New Life Center has many volunteer opportunities available throughout the agency and Hope’s Closet.

If you are 18-years-old or older, we encourage you to consider joining our growing team of volunteers. Opportunities range from
volunteering a few hours at one of the agency’s special events to a weekly commitment helping with childcare or tutoring, decorating casitas
on campus, sorting donations at Hope’s Closet, or providing administrative support to the agency.

All volunteer applicants will be asked to do the following:

•  Attend the Brighter Day Tour

•  Complete an application to potentially include central registry check, TB test, and fingerprint clearance card

•  Complete an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator

•  Attend the volunteer orientation

Most positions provide on-the-job training to equip volunteers with the skills and information necessary to perform specific assignments.
