Our Greatest Needs
It is not uncommon for the domestic violence survivors we serve to walk through the doors of our shelter with only the clothes on their backs.
For that reason, New Life Center relies on the generosity of our community to help fulfill the basic needs of the survivors we serve. Everyday household items are the same items our families need on a regular basis: deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care products, body wash, soap, cleaning supplies, and more.
New Life Center will gladly accept these and other NEW product donations at our shelter.
Please review our in-kind donation guidelines and wish list to learn how you can help fill our most crucial in-kind donation needs.

Thank you for making a difference!
Hope’s Closet, a thrift store owned and operated by New Life Center, accepts new and gently used items. The store serves two very important purposes for New Life Center:
1) Through a voucher system, the families we serve “shop” for free at Hope’s Closet. They are free to select whatever clothing, accessories, books, shoes and more they may need or want. Many of the survivors we serve need to attend important meetings, appointments or job interviews while participating in our program. Thanks to donations to Hope’s Closet and our onsite boutique, shelter participants have access to business appropriate attire. When the survivors we serve are prepared to exit shelter, they also have access to housewares, home décor, furniture and more at Hope’s Closet. Therefore, your in-kind donations to Hope’s Closet directly benefit the domestic violence survivors we serve!
2) One hundred percent of the proceeds generated at Hope’s Closet from the sale of items to the general public help fund New Life Center’s shelter operations. Supporters who donate to Hope’s Closet should take pride in knowing their donation helps keep New Life Center’s doors open. By donating your new and gently used items to Hope’s Closet, you help ensure New Life Center remains a safe haven for domestic violence survivors.
Donations can be dropped off at the store Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Shopping hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The address for Hope’s Closet Thrift Store is: 415 N. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, AZ 85338.
Pick-ups for large items can be arranged by calling the store directly at (623) 925-0965.
